Theresa June Hicks

Born on July 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Lee and Mabel Elizabeth Coburn Medford.

Theresa was very artistic, she enjoyed poetry, cake decorating, canning, drawing, singing, and loved animals. She was of the Christian faith.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gaylan Medford and nephew, Andy Medford.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Randall “Randy” Hicks of Lansing; two sons, Addam (Jessica) Hicks of Lookout, and Christopher Hicks of Fairmont; brother, Tom (Nina) Medford of Oak Hill; two sisters, Tammy (Benny) Akers and Heather (Scott) Underwood, both of Oak Hill; three grandchildren, Franklin Hicks, Ashton Hicks, and Kaiden Hicks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Minister Heather Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Hicks Family Cemetery, Lookout.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
