Roy Franklin Crookshanks

Today we don’t say goodbye, only till we see you again. To Roy Crookshanks. All those who love him lost him on October 11, 2022, where he passed suddenly surrounded by his loved ones. Roy was born on October 20, 1948, in Fayette County W.V. Roy was a Vietnam Vet, and a retired logger. Among so very many other things in life. Best known for his love of the outdoors by all those who love him, he was an avid Fisherman and Hunter also well known and loved for his storytelling. He passed his love of the outdoors on to his 2 surviving sons Wesley Crookshanks and Jearet Crookshanks. Whom he had with his surviving wife of 51 years Jeanie Sparks Crookshanks. Roy and Jeanie had a long life of happy memories together. Roy passed at there Fayetteville home suddenly surrounded by several of his loved ones on October 11, 2022. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him. His surviving wife of 51 years Jeanie Sparks Crookshanks and Surviving Family son Wesley Crookshanks and his children John Crookshanks, Kyndra Crookshanks, Gianna Crookshanks, Aliah Crookshanks. Son of Roy Jearet Crookshanks/ Holly Crookshanks and children Abigail Crookshanks, Jayme Crookshanks, Emilee Crookshanks, Matthew Crookshanks. As well as Roy’s sisters Louise Cutlip, and Donna Zackery of South Carolina and pets Trooper and Sam. He will be deeply missed by all but never forgotten. We will always remember your stories and jokes. As well as our times that we got to enjoy your passion for the outdoors with you.
