Jessie Leigh Wood

Jessie Leigh Wood, 20, of Oak Hill, died unexpectedly July 12, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Joann McGraw, Grandmother Dixie Yates, and Step-grandfather Manuel McCallister.

She is survived by her son, Josiah Mitchell and his father Aaron Mitchell, Mother Angela Yates, Father Mark Wood,step-mother Florence McCallister, Granparents Ebbie & Lois Wood, Joe & Trudy Atha, Bob McGraw, Step-grandmother Opal McCallister, sisters Kaylee Wood, Emily Atha, Rikki McCallister, brothers Tyler,Daniel, and Nathan McCallister, special cousins Kelsie Atha and Rayna Jackson, special friend Anthony Goard, special aunt and uncle Tracie & James Pannell and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jessie was a beautiful young woman loved the outdoors and was full of life that was taken all too soon. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be from 12-1 Friday July 24th at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, 350 W Maple Ave. Fayetteville, WV. A celebration of life will immediately follow.
