JANE E. REICHERT LANSING, WV – Jane Elizabeth Reichert, 86, of Lansing, WV passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, WV. Born on July 9, 1928 in Bourbon, IN, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Willa Dean Cary Lemler. Mrs. Reichert was a good Christian woman. She attended many churches in the towns that she lived. She is a member of the Ansted Baptist Church and frequently attended services at Mountain View Church of God. She also enjoyed knitting at the Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired sales manager from The Heather House in South Bend, IN. She loved camping with family and friends. She was a Campfire Girls leader, a Sunday School teacher and an active part of the Port Charlotte Village Community in Florida. She was an avid bowler and was on several leagues. After moving to WV to live with her daughters, the last year of her life was spent at the Summit in Oak Hill where she enjoyed being part of the Red Hat Society. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Reichert, and favorite cousin, Byron Kohn. Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her three daughters, Janna Reichert of South Bend, IN, Ruthie Roickle of New Woodstock, NY, and Becky Reichert of Lansing; sister, Phyllis Faulkner of Plymouth, IN; brother, Jack Lemler of Columbia City, IN; cousin, Millie Kohn of McAuthur, OH; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her miniature dachshund, Kipper. In keeping with Jane’s wishes, she will be cremated with a memorial service at a later date. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
