Born on December 11, 1951 at Mahan, WV, he was the son of the late Grover Gaylan and Lillian Nadeen Chappel Bowyer.
Mr. Bowyer enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and fixing cars. He loved hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephews, Roger Bowyer and Kevin Ellevan; and uncles, James Chappel.
Survivors include his sisters, Marilyn (Gary) Dema and Barbara Skaggs; brother, Roger (Terry) Bowyer; daughter, Lisa Bowyer; niece, Cori Ellevan; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Bowyer, will be cremated with no services.
