Born on May 5, 1954, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Ray and Margie Joann Perdue Coleman. She was the granddaughter of the late Everette and Violet Coleman and Lewis and Parthena Perdue.
Gladys attended Maple Fork Baptist Church. She loved cooking for everyone and traveling with her husband, Mike. Gladys was retired from working in management for Wendy's.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Colin Delaney; sisters, Carolyn Pascocciello and Patricia Rinehart; brother, Kenny "Earl" Coleman; and nephew, Michael Pascocciello.
Left with many wonderful memories are her husband of 14 years, Michael Foster; brother, Jackie Coleman and wife, Margaret; son, C.J. Delaney and wife, Kathy; step-daughter, Michelle Taylor; 3 grandchildren: Michael Delaney; Caleb and Emma Taylor; 2 great-grandchildren: M.J. and Zoe Delaney; 5 nephews: Kenneth II and Rusty Coleman; Jerry Rinehart, Justin Tredway, and Joey Rinehart; 4 nieces: Ashley Strunk; Shannon McKinney; Jessica Coleman and Stephanie Polk; 5 great-nieces and 7 great-nephews: Kenneth Coleman III and Kristy Craig; Michael and Jennifer Coleman; Takoda and MacKenzie Strunk; Joseph, Hunter and Wyatt Rinehart; Brooke Tredway; Meredith and Oliver Polk.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Parkersburg, WV.
