She entered Heaven and was reunited with her husband, Lawrence, on what would have been their 73rd wedding anniversary.
Betty was born in Handley, WV and was one of five children born to Lawrence and Lorena Pearl (Garrett) Lowe.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Lawrence Charles White; her precious daughter, Rhonda Kaye White of Fayetteville, brother, Charles Lowe of San Antonio, TX and sister, Janice Gillen of Simi Valley, CA.
Survived by brothers, Richard “Dickie” (Sandra) Lowe and Clifford “Kip” (Karen) Lowe of San Antonio, TX; eleven children, Larry White, Stevie White, Sherry (Larry) Hawkins, Cynthia Kelly, Beverly (Harry) Stafford, Frank White, John (Amy) White, Mary (Kenny) Young, Willie (Jennifer) White, Jamie (Kim) White, Charlie (Amy) White; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Betty was a loving Mother, lifelong Christian, avid reader and follower of the Bible, published author who enjoyed music, singing, cooking, crocheting and sewing.
The family sends a very special thanks to the "Central WV AGING" and all the workers there; and also sends their deepest appreciation for the superior care provided by her caregivers, Nellie Moore, Becky Rhodes, Janice Brown and Connie Hammontree. A very special thanks to Tammy and appreciation to Hospice of Southern WV for their excellent and compassionate care.
Private funeral services for family and extended family will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1:00PM at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, WV. Burial will be held at Huse Memorial Park immediately following services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia 465 Cranberry Drive Beckley, WV 25801.
