Barbara Lynn Bradshaw, 69, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, after a six month battle with cancer. She was born on January 19, 1952, the youngest daughter of Edgar Tolly Shuck and Mary Alice Martin. In 1970 she graduated from Fayetteville High School.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Price; her brother, Richard Shuck, of New Plymouth, Ohio; and two sisters, Rebecca Corwin of Pataskala, Ohio, and an infant, Dolores.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kim, of Fayetteville; one daughter, Angela (Casey) Barrows; and two grandchildren: Jazmine Barrows, and River Mayfield, with whom she shared a special relationship, all of Richmond, Virginia; one brother, Robert (Kathleen) Shuck of Catlett, Virginia; one sister, Betty (Richard) Wilson of Bradenton, Florida; sister-in-law, Emma Jean Shuck of New Plymouth, Ohio, and numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.
Barbara was a life-long resident of Fayetteville, proud of being a professional Secretary who served as Administrative Assistant to several notable employers in the coal industry, as well as the former Long-Airdox, Mt. Olive Correctional Center, and thirteen years as Treasurer for the City of Mt. Hope, West Virginia.
She loved her dogs, her simple home and lifestyle: gardening, canning, nurturing her many houseplants, old-time country music, fishing, watching her bluebird`s nest, taking drives in Greenbrier County, which she said her mommy always called “God’s country”, fresh seafood, and a part of her very soul, the beaches and sunsets of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Harry Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
