This message is for Ursula Wegman’s family.
I just heard of her passing and offer my sincere condolences to you all. I was a neighbor and friend of Ursula’s here at RIVERBEND. 

She and I also knitted together at RIVERVIEW  every Monday.
She spoke lovingly of you all and we who were her friends and fellow knitters will sorely miss her. Some of her beautiful projects are now keeping many babies, children and veterans cozy and warm.
 
I am so glad that I got to know her and enjoy her company.

My family and I were patients starting in 1964. Your  parents became dear friends. They watched me grow up from age 10 to age 50. They shared in my life milestones including coming to my wedding. They were such incredible people individually, and showed me that a great marriage makes two people even better together. I am a better person for having known them. They loved you kids and grandkids with all their heart. I wish I could tell your Mom that I just became an Oma too and tell your Dad that I finally embraced flossing last year at age 67! I was always in awe of the magnificent meals she would turn out from that cramped little kitchen!  I had difficulty coming close in a much larger space.  She certainly had a gift for entertaining.

Ursula has been very much missed since she left her home here in Riverbend. When she would come back to visit, we always enjoyed seeing her. My condolences to the family and may dear Ursula Rest In Peace. 

Our fond memories of Ursula and Irving always turn to amazement when we think of the unbelievable New Years Day open house parties at 5637 Bellington!  We loved hearing of all their Air Stream adventures. There was no better way to start a new year than with Ursula’s gourmet cooking, Irv’s stories and their  infectious smiles. They leave behind the best legacy of all—three wonderful children. Our thoughts and prayers are with Anita, Jeffery and Brigitta and their families.
