Thomas Wei-Yao Huang

Thomas was born in Nanking on 12th Jan. 1933, China to Mr. C.C. and Mrs. Y.P. Huang. He went to school at Don Wu University in Taiwan, got his B.A in economics. He is married to Mrs. Lisa Huang on 12th April 1964, in Taipei Taiwan.

He worked in the banking industry both in Taiwan and the U.S. He also ran a small business during his time in the U.S.

During his time in school, he and his brothers competed in many different sporting events. His favorites being basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Thomas earned a badge of honor for surviving the 60+ years of marriage. He also earned a medal of valor for his distinguished duties as father to 3 rambunctious children. Additionally, he earned the big heart award during his later years for his duties under fire as a grandfather.

Thomas is preceded in death by his 2 younger brothers, Victor and William. His surviving siblings are his brother, David and 2 sisters, Wendy and Shirley.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Lisa and 3 children, Paul and his spouse Shenfen, Richard, Sharon and her spouse William, as well as his grandsons, Benjamin and Aaron.

Funeral services will be held on 02 Feb. 2024 at 1000-1100 at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042.
