Thomas Eldridge Cooper Jr, 88, of Tampa Florida, formerly of Rockville Maryland, passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 surrounded by family. Tom was born on April 26, 1934, in Winding Gulf West Virginia. He served in the US Navy as a ship fireman after graduating from High School and retired from Xerox Corp Training Facility in Leesburg, VA as a maintenance engineer and a volunteer fireman. He is survived by his daughter’s, Tonya Zanganah & Annita Rush, his son Thomas Cooper III, Step-son Robert Portwood, his sisters Ilene and Irene, 5 grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and the countless friends Tom has touched throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Gracie and Eldridge and his brother Robert Jackson Cooper. A memorial service will be held on June 29th, at 11:00 am at National Memorial Park 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, Va
