Taylor Russell Rudd

Taylor was born in Alexandria, VA to Taylor Sr. and Ruby Davis Rudd on August 3rd, 1933. He went to school at GW High School and completed his studies at Shepherd College after serving three years in the US Army during the Korean War.

He served his country a second time by joining the US Secret Service, where he enjoyed a successful 20-year career up until his retirement in 1984.

Taylor is preceded in death by his parents Taylor Sr, and Ruby Davis Rudd,

Taylor is survived by wife Linda Ellen Rudd, three sons: Richard (Linda), Craig (Ruth Jennings), Tyler (Tina), Brother John Rudd (Eleanor), and four grandchildren Melanie, Laura, Taylor, and Trey.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Hospital in Lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday May 23rd at the National Funeral Home: 7482 Lee Hwy Falls Church, VA 22042.

Funeral services will be held from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, also at the National Funeral Home, with a graveside service immediately following.
