Tammy D. Brinkman

Tammy was born October 31, 1954 in Zagreb, Croatia to Vesna Dobrovolni. Tammy emigrated from Croatia to Belgium when she was 5 years old. Tammy came to the US when she was 16 years old as an exchange student sponsored by the Marrs family of Sleepy Hollow.

She attended her senior year and graduated from J.E.B. Stuart High School in 1972. She received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 1976.

Tammy is survived by her husband Christopher Buehler and children, Victoria Brinkman and Bridget Brinkman.

A visitation will be held on January 8, 2021 from 5-7pm at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. Funeral Services will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 13807 Poplar Tree Road Chantilly, VA 20151 on January 9, 2021 at 11am.

Another Leaf Has Fallen

Another leaf has fallen,

another soul has gone.

But still we have God’s promises,

in every robin’s song.

For he is in His heaven,

and though He takes away,

He always leaves to mortals,

the bright sun’s kindly ray.

He leaves the fragrant blossoms,

and lovely forest, green.

And gives us new found comfort,

when we on Him will lean.
