Susan Farrar of Lorton, VA passed away February 14, 2012. Survived by her mother, Elizabeth Jackson; cherished by her daughter, Meghan Farrar; loved by brother, Roger Jackson and sisters, Judith Hyde, and Glenna Joyce Wagner. Susan recently retired from GSA after a long federal career. Relatives and friends may call at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315 on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 2006 Belle View Blvd., Alexandria, VA 22307 on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow directly at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Va. at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
