On Friday, March 7, 2014, SOPHIE MURIEL SILVERSTEIN, of Rockville, MD, formerly of Brooklyn, NY. Beloved wife of the late Sheldon Silverstein; devoted mother of Samuel (Stephanie) Silverstein; cherished grandmother of Jocelyn Rae Silverstein. She grew up in The Bronx, NY, and spent the later years of her life in the Washington, DC area. A world traveler and educational psychologist, she firmly believed that looking out for others was her most important responsibility. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 2 p.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Hwy., Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Revitz House, 6111 Montrose Rd., Rockville, MD 20852.
