Enjoyed our friendship in our ABF at Immanuel Bible Church. We both shopped at Harris Teeter and would often be there at the same time. We talked in the store, went to lunch and talked some more. Sorry I could not be there today. Had a water problem in the basement and the repair was being done. 

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to all relatives, friends, and all who knew and loved Sharon. She was certainly a beautiful person, with kindness for everyone; and will surely be greatly missed. As her niece, I have many fond memories of Sharon growing up. She was my mother's 'baby sister' and only 3 years older than me. We were children together, played together, and went to school together; and at times, she was baby-sitter to me and my two younger siblings. We had many good times together. One fond memory I have, is when I received my first 2-wheel bicycle when I was 8. Sharon did not have one, & often would ask if she could ride it. I was happy to share it with her. I felt as though she was the popular girl at school (who might have been Homecoming Queen) asking me if she could borrow my gown to wear to the Senior Prom. It was an honor to share my things with her. She taught me how to dance, to double-dutch jump rope, and how to properly 'set a table'. And most important of all, while my family was living in CA for a short while; she heard that I nearly drowned in a pool during the summer of 1959. So, when we moved back to DC in December, she took me to the Ambassador Hotel In-door swimming pool several times and taught me how to swim, and even encouraged me to jump off the diving board. She was so reassuring and helped me along the way, as I was still so afraid of the water. Then, some years later, she privileged me with the news that she was pregnant with her first child. I will never forget those special moments that I shared with my Aunt Sharon.
Until I see her again, I grieve with you & console myself & others, with the promise of a resurrection and the 'good news of God's Kingdom', which Jesus taught will bring lasting peace to this Earth and everlasting life to all good people in every land (Matt.6:9,10; Matt.24:14; John 5:28,29; Acts 10:34,35; & 24:15; Rev. 21:3-5; Ps.72:7,8,13-15; Isa.35:1-7; Eccl.1:4).
