I knew Rishi only briefly, we were in middle school together. After that we parted ways forever, never to see or hear from each other again. We we not friends, not to say there was bad blood between us, but it was just the nature of things.

I never said it but I was always in awe of how intelligent, funny, and interesting he was. So many people held him in high regard and it was telling because during 6th grade I never actually met him, but constantly I heard tales of him by name and was intrigued. When I finally did meet him, though we didn't hit it off, I wasn't at all disappointed as the tales I had heard were true. Even back then, people loved him and my young eyes could see that. I thought about him a few times after we had all gone out separate ways and wondered what he was up to.

I don't know if anyone's actually reading this, but Rishi's passing has hunted me and is a strong reminder to lives as fully and truthful as possible. Even me, who wasn't someone he considered a friend, is so saddened by this passing because it's one less amazing person we have in this world. He was a young man with his whole life ahead of him and people who wanted much more time with him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. 

I sometimes still couldn't believe that Rishi has passed. I spoke with him on a Friday afternoon, he seemed to be doing alright at that time. He had a rough day at work, but from how I knew Rishi, a bad day is just that: one day. I would have never guessed that that was the last time I would have a conversation with him.

I met Rishi last December at this new job; he actually interviewed me for the role that I applied to. We became good buddies at work pretty quickly. Him and I were a good team, and we were kicking butts and nailing deals in a short span of time. He was a thoughtful, caring person, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a smart dude, he seemed to have solutions to problems he faced at work. And he had plans and dreams all figured out for himself.

I will never forget you, buddy. It was a short time with us on a team, but it was definitely memorable. 



My experience of Rishi is totally in line with others.   He called me one day about a job opportunity and there was just something about the kind way he interacted with me which I knew was special.  I trusted him and it paid off.  He found me a totally pro job and had my back the whole time.    He quickly became a friend and he was a ton of fun.  He loved playing board games with his family and told me all about it, as well as his favorite shows.  To his family: you all did an amazing job raising this man, I am so so deeply sorry for your loss.   Love from Colorado, John and Hilary.

To Rishi I say thank you for being such a kind soft spoken soul. At Camp Trucking I was very fortunate to have watched you diffuse many different situations, just by being you. I am happy that we had various occasions to just sit and talk. 

To his family, thank you for bringing us all such an amazing friend. He has truly been a blessing and a light in this world. 

We met 3 years ago at camp trucking and kept in contact. He convinced me to move to Colorado which has been the best decision I’ve ever made. The kindness and patience that you had was inspiring and you were always there for me. I miss you man, I really miss you. Rest In Peace my brother.

I'm beside myself to say that I've lost one of my best friends. Rishi has been like a brother to me since we were just little kids running around the neighborhood. He was always there for me for everything good and bad and always had my back through all these years. On the worst days of my life he was there with me to pick me up, and he was there to celebrate with me for all of the best. He was one of the smartest, most loving, and caring people I've ever known. I couldn't have asked for a better friend and I'm so lucky to have been able to call him family. Love you brother. You'll be missed more than words could ever possibly express.

Rest In Peace my dear friend 😭😭 You always made me laugh. You were so kind and were always willing to help me out and be there for me when I needed you. I was just thinking of you a few days ago. I wish I would’ve reached out to you 😔 Love and miss you💔 

Man, I  can't believe I'm even writing this.  I first met Rishi at a restaurant in Pennsylvania several years ago during one of the June Camp Trucking sessions. We spent plenty of time together driving up and down 95 to and from camps and houses. Rishi was kind, hard working, and generous. I'm deeply saddened to hear about his passing. 

We met at Camp Trucking and you were one of my first partners teaching me the ins and outs of the job. We had such good times working hard and making the best out of crappy situations. We had a lot of random phone calls being so far apart from each other and supported each other in times of need. I’ll always remember our Hamptons story and cherish that Savage night. I love you brother and I’ll miss you deeply. 

Hey man,
I know we didn't talk much since you moved out west, but I always checked in on Facebook to see what big traveling adventure you were doing next.  You were a great co worker back at Shuttle UM and you were always fun.  I remember you gave me a ride during our lunch break since so we would have extra time hanging out during our break....in that old BMW and you were so excited to fix it up and we talked about how fun it is to fix old cars the whole time.  All of us at Shuttle UM were tight back then and I always wanted success for you.  Rest easy, old friend.  We will miss you.  

We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Rishi’s death.  We are heartbroken for his family and close friends.  Deepest sympathies xoxo

I love you man. You always called me at the most random times with the most random topics,  like when you called me in the middle of the  night to asked me how to raise a pit bull cuz you got two pit bull puppies and we would always get into epic situations. Thanks for the memories brother
