Michael L. “Mickey” Ephrath, 21, passed suddenly in New York City. He was the son of Arye and Peggy (Smith) Ephrath. Mickey was born in New Brunswick, N.J. and was raised most of his life in Fairfax Va. He attended Gesher Jewish Day School in Annandale and Rock Run Middle School in Chantilly. He was a 2009 graduate of Fairfax H.S. He went to Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.
Mickey’s passion was his music. He loved to play record and write music.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Tricia Pierce, wife of Robert, and their children Jacob, Carter, and Claire; his Savta of Isreal, his grandmother Pat Runco, and his Aunts Sandy, and Cille, his Uncle Effie and also Aunt Hannah.
Funeral service to be held Thursday January 10, at 1 p.m. at the National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Va. Burial will follow at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church.
