Mary Elizabeth Russo

she is survived by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Ann Berger (Matthew) of Fairfax, Va., brother Edward M. Skeehan (Sandra), of Pittsburgh, Pa., beloved nieces, Adela Eannarino of Arlington, Margaret Eannarino of Monroeville, Pa., Lisa Pilewski (Tony) of Pittsburgh, Pa., beloved nephew Regis Eannarino of Fairfax, and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Russo, and her parents, Regis and Marie Skeehan.

She moved from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Washington, D.C. in 1960 to work for the government.

She was with the US Information Agency for many years before leaving to raise her daughter, Elizabeth.

She was a woman of faith and woman of prayer. She interceded for the medical community for over four decades and first responders since 9/11. When she didn't think that her own prayers alone were enough, she enlisted the assistance of her beloved Poor Clare Nuns. She will be greatly missed.
