Linda Jean Hughes

On December 24, 2016, Linda Weslar Hughes of McLean, VA passed away. Loving partner and wife of 36 years to husband John, caring mother of Calley and Gavin, and devoted and faithful sister to Joanne Kennedy, Linda is also survived by brother-in-law Roger Kennedy, niece Jennifer and nephews Charles (and wife Sarah) and Matthew (and wife Sarah) Kennedy, and numerous other beloved extended family members and close friends.

When Linda was not dedicating herself to her children and family, she always had an unfailing spirit of giving to others and all considered her a close friend. A cancer survivor for nearly two decades, Linda's unrelenting strength, courage, kindness, and grace inspired everyone who met her. Although her physical presence is no longer with us, Linda’s light and love will forever shine on her family and all those she touched, and warm their hearts and make their eyes glisten.
