Jimmy Nguyen Lam
January 3, 1988 – October 11, 2023
Our most beloved and charming son, nephew, cousin, and precious friend Jimmy Nguyen Lam passed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL.
Jimmy will be missed every day by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many great friends.
Jimmy was born in Northern Virginia and grew up in Chantilly. He graduated from Chantilly High School in 2006 and pursued various careers. After his mother’s passing in 2016, Jimmy explored new opportunities in Tampa, FL, with his latest career endeavor as a Case Consultant at Cain & Daniels, Inc.
For as long as we have all known Jimmy, he always knew how to fill the room with fun energy and was always comfortable being the center of attention. He went from being the ringleader of mischief with his cousins (“the original five”) at grandma’s house to being the ringleader of mischief with his friends at house parties. You always knew when Jimmy was in the room with his goofy sense of humor and ability to make the room laugh until tears.
Jimmy always faced life challenges with optimism and big dreams. He was loyal and supportive and fiercely protective of those he loved. He left a memorable impression that made everyone feel comfortable to be around him.
He loved his family and the friends that turned into family. Most of all, he loved his mother more than anything in this world. We find peace in knowing that he is reunited with his mom, Joanne Nguyen, and his dog, J-Rock.
Family, friends, and others who were touched by Jimmy’s life are invited to celebrate the life of our cheerful and genuine family and friend, Jimmy Lam:
