Janet Lee Hall, 82, of Annandale, Virginia, died June 1, 2015. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on September 8, 1932. Ms. Hall graduated and received a Bachelor's Degree from Concord College and a Master's Degree in Education from University of West Virginia. She moved from West Virginia to Annandale in 1968. Ms. Hall was a professor of English for more than 40 years at Bluefield State University and at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. She retired in 1995 and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was married to Mario Ciarlo.
Ms. Hall is survived by her husband, Mario; her brother, Joseph (Sue) Hall; many nieces and nephews and a host of family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 12:00 Noon, National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy; Falls Church, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concord University, Athens, West Virginia, or to the American Cancer Society.
