Gisela was married to the late Helmut Rader for 36 years. She is survived by her son Helmut and wife Nele, son Henning and wife Theresa, and daughter Hella and husband Sage, grandchildren Kevin, Andrew, John, Christian, Adair and Emily, and sister Else Schmitt. A longtime resident of McLean, Virginia, Gisela was an active member and volunteer in her church for over 40 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A time of reflection and remembrance will be held Wednesday, November 4th from 2-4 PM and from 7-9 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA, www.nationalfh-mp.com. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5th at 2 PM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church ( German Lutheran Church ), 5500 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD.
