Estella was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia to Evaristo And Dolores Hernandez on January 1st 1944. she married Ahmed Behery in the spring of 1971 in Washington DC. She graduated with an Engineering degree from Northern Virginia Community College at the top of her class (Dean’s List).
Estella worked as a Bridge inspector for VDOT and later changed careers to be in School Administration for the next 25 years at Falls Church high school and later Luther Jackson middle school where she was beloved by her students until her retirement.
Estella was a dedicated Mother and wife raising two boys while excelling in school and her career living the American dream she worked so tirelessly to achieve. She was a gourmet cook and she loved her family, gardening, animals and fresh baked goods.
Estella is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and Ex husband.
Estella is survived by her Sons Lawrence and Omar Behery her Daughter in law Susan Behery, and beloved grandson Miles (her prince).
