Eileen was born to Chester and Clara Mussehl on May 14, 1931 in Washington DC and lived a long wonderful life of 90 years in the Northern Virginia area. She was married in 1958 and had four children.
Eileen worked for General Electric as a Customer Service Representative during her younger years and after retirement enjoyed traveling and soaking up all the history that was offered in her area including several trips to Williamsburg. Eileen was an avid reader spending hours upon hours reading as many books as the local library would let her check out and was a huge collector of Titanic and Beauty and the Beast memorabilia. She had a passion like no other for her beloved dogs and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren as much as she could.
Eileen is preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Harry Rodgers, her brother Wayne Musshel, her son Harry T. Rodgers “Buddy”, and great grandson’s Mason Wandrick and Brandon Williams.
Survived by her siblings Robert Mussehl and Marion Watts, along with her children Lynn Coffey and spouse Michael Coffey, Randy Rodgers, Christine Donahue and spouse Wayne Donahue. Six grandchildren including Michelle Patrick and her spouse Brian Patrick, Sherry Wandrick and her spouse Chad Wandrick, Christian Donahue and his spouse Rachel Donahue, Matthew Donahue and his spouse Carolyn Donahue, Ross Coffey and his spouse Stephanie Coffey and Michael Rodgers. Fourteen great grandchildren including Allison Alger and her spouse Dakota Alger, Taylor Patrick, Jordan Patrick, Rachel Wandrick, Chase Wandrick, Robert Donahue, Quinlan Donahue, Sydney Donahue, Piper Donahue, Grayson Coffey, Asher Coffey, Kelly McCabe, Savannah Donahue and Brooklyn Donahue.
There will be a graveside service on October 10th 2021, 11am at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia for her burial and a celebration of her glorious life on November 6th, 2021 in Unionville, Virginia. All family and friends are welcome.
