Ed was born October 16, 1942, in Colwyn, PA, to Mary and Edmond McGill. He had a younger brother and sister, and dearly loved them both. Ed worked hard in school and especially enjoyed history. As a young man, he decided to join the military and served our country dutifully in Vietnam. In 1975, he married his wife, Jennifer and they went on to have two children. Ed was always a family man and prioritized his family above everything else in his life. After leaving the military, he became a diplomat, and his country, close friends and family honor his dedication to his nation. In his free time, Ed loved the beach and took his family on beach trips as often as possible. He will be greatly missed by those around him, especially by his close relatives. There will be a service held for Ed on the 11th of March with a private burial to follow.
