Known as Don to his friends was born in Baltimore, graduated from the University of Maryland in 1951. He received his medical degree and graduated first in his class from Bowman Gray Medical School in 1955. Following Medical School,Don served as a Captain in the Army during the Korean War. He practiced medicine for 35 years in Timonium, Md. Don died peacefully on Monday, June 8th. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alma and his five children, Martha Carr, Michael Wood, Elizabeth Spencer, Katherine Hayes, Amy Wood, ten grand children and 4 great grand children. Don will be fondly remembered for his great patient care, his love of hunting, fishing and his watercolor works of art.
