Cloe was born on March 16, 1931 in Cheektowaga, NY to Kenneth and Carol Mau. After graduating from Amherst High School, she relocated to the Washington DC. area, where she met and married Digby Ingram in 1954.
Cloe was a devoted mother to her two children, Pam and Chris. She was dedicated daughter, sister, and aunt to her parents, her three brothers and their families.
Cloe loved to dance, to play cards and the beach. Her even keeled, outgoing personality brought many friends – she never met a stranger. She loved to participate in all sports, tennis being her favorite. She always knew the right thing to say and do. She always showed up. She was proud to have worked for the United States Marine Corp for over 30 years and lived the Corp’s values - never lie, never cheat or steal; abide by an uncompromising code of integrity; respect human dignity and respect others. We will miss her greatly.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Chollet (Brian) and son, Christopher Ingram (Deborah), two grandchildren, Cody Ingram and Rebecca Ingram. Her brothers, Brian Mau (D’Ann), Gary Mau (Carol), and many nieces and nephews. She leaves many lifelong and new friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Kenneth Mau, Jr.
