Cleovus J Kennedy

Cleovus James (Jim) Kennedy, 88 of Wytheville, VA peacefully passed in his sleep Tuesday November 19, 2024 . He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Allen Kennedy and Helen Archer Kennedy of Wytheville and son Cleovus James Kruse of Unionville, VA. He is survived by his wife Loretta Kennedy, daughters Debbie Milne (Dave), Donna Burdick (Dennis), Laurie Wiggins and sons Allen Kruse Sr (Tina) and John Kennedy (Tori), Twelve grandchildren, Twelve great grandchildren and one great great grand child. Jim was a fiercely independent man, secure in his beliefs. He was proud of his long a storied careers, and loved to share the stories of his colorful life. Jim embodied the American spirit. He was tough, worked hard, played hard, and knelt before no man. Funeral arrangements: Grave side at King David/National Memorial Cemetery 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church Tuesday November 26 at 1:00 pm. A reception will be held in a private room inside National Memorial Cemetery main building.
