I’ve had the opportunity of knowing Brett for many years through Bridget. Brett along with Bridget were there for all of my daughter, Aubrey’s birthdays and even her baby shower.  Thank you Brett, for making Bridget so happy and serving as an example of what true love can be. Your love and kindness will never be forgotten. 

Brett, Although I never physically met you, I feel like I know you..I heard so much about you from my daughter, Aisha.  She's gonna miss you.  Rest in Heaven, young man, Rest in Heaven. ❤️ 

Brett I have no words that could truly express my love and admiration for you. The love you shared with Bridget is one to aspire to. Thank you for always having time to play and talk with Dominic. My heart is broken for your family and mine , we will all miss your warm smile and calming nature. 

In 2009 when Brett was 16, I had the privledge of taking him, with his mother, to his very first concert.  Pam, Brett and I packed into the car and traveled to the stadium in Charlottesville.  I remember sitting watching his joy and amazement as he waited for and then saw Metallica come out on stage.  I have photos that I'll have to dig up--but even so--I can promise that he lived that moment like a champ and was in awe of the music around him. I am so happy to know that he enjoyed several more years of METAL and I can't wait to hear more stories from friends!

I remember you, Bridget and I staying on the phone for hours at night when I was going through my hardest times. You and her would always make me laugh and smile. I can’t believe you’re gone and I’m heartbroken. Thank you for listening to my problems and helping me out when I needed it. You will always be my friend. 

Brett was pure gentleman. He was so kind. I wish he could have completed all his dreams. But heaven will be the best. Keep your heart with Bridget. She misses you. But see you soon. Tell grandma hi for me. Heaven has a new angel. PS. Thanks for making Bridget so happy…
