She was born on April 18, 1926 in Littlefield, TX and grew up in Jacksonville, IL. Betty, moved to the Washington, DC area during World War II and worked for the Department of the Navy for several years. She was the loving wife of the late Ezekiel P. Paschal and they were married for 38 years until his death in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Stephen Paschal of Arlington, VA, Richard (Brenda) Paschal of Wilmington, NC, and Ronald Paschal of Purcellville, VA, two daughters, Phyllis (Roger) Awe of Fredericksburg, VA and Susan (Randy) Lindauere of Monrovia, MD. She was grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 10 and one due in March.
Betty is also survived by her sisters, Frances Campbell of Arizona and Charlene Hicks of Illinois.
She was a long-time member of Barcroft Bible Church, Fairfax, VA and Spotswood Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, VA.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the City Gates Church, 9401 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA. Interment will be private. In Betty's memory, her family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to her favorite ministry: Word of Life Fellowship, P.O.
