Anne K. Kane, age 93, on November 21, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Kane. She is survived by her daughter, Georja Oumano Jones, grandson, Jason M. Teahan, brothers, Frank and Robert Kozel and sister, Alice Wallis. A special acknowledgement of gratitude is extended to Barbara Seidman for her support during this time.
When Anne was younger, she enjoyed traveling abroad and later loved baking for her family and friends. She served a long career with the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer and was a devout Catholic serving as a Eucharistic Minister in her parish.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 30, 2015 from 10AM to 10:30AM at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Chapel, 3110 Gracefield Rd, Silver Spring, MD. A funeral mass will begin at 10:30AM. Interment services will be at 2:30pm at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA.
