Anna L. Lebanik Paljug

Anna (Lebanik) Paljug, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend; born Thursday, August 21, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to George & Rose Lebanik; went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Falls Church, Virginia with her loving family by her side. Anna has been a resident for over fifty-four years in Falls Church, an active parishioner at St. Philips Catholic Church and member of the Greek Catholic Union. Anna enjoyed many things in her free time such as playing bingo, bowling, ballroom dancing and especially bridge; what she truly loved most of all were the times she shared with her family and friends who she loved so dearly; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph W. Paljug; her loving parents, George & Rose Lebanik and her dear siblings, John Lebanik, George Lebanik, Mike Lebanik, Andrew Lebanik and Mary Korbelic. Anna is survived by her loving children, Joseph R. Paljug & wife Mary Ann, Joyce A. Paljug, Michael J. Paljug & wife Susan and Rosemary Paljug & husband Michael Reynolds; six beloved grandchildren, Brian Paljug & wife Kay, Jason Paljug, Aaron Paljug, Nicole Paljug, Ethan Reynolds and Colin Reynolds; her dear brother, Paul Lebanik; a special friend and dearly loved care giver, Happy Awume and numerous other family members and friends. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Murphy Funeral Home; 1102 W. Broad Street; Falls Church, Virginia 22046. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 12:30pm at St. Philips Catholic Church; 7500 St. Phillips Ct.; Falls Church, Virginia 22042. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:15pm at Fairfax Memorial Park; 4401 Burke Station Road; Fairfax, Virginia 22032.
