So sorry for your  loss, I will always cherish the memory's of Aunt Alice and Uncle David. . Aunt Alice always had a smile and made you feel special. I know she has that smile now with Uncle David and is watching over you all.

Dearest Yvonne, Debbie, and Alice:

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your families on the loss of your mother.  I wish I could be there in person to comfort you.  Please know that I am there in spirit, keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Alice always was full of laughter, love, and great advice.  She was my rock last year during my mother's difficult illness, and even after my mother's death, we would chat weekly just so she would know I was doing OK.  Aunt Alice was kind and gentle, treating all of her nieces and nephews as her children, tending to our skinned knees and broken hearts.

I have wonderful childhood memories of swimming with her in the Sunset Park pool, playing softball in the street outside Grandma's house, driving around Brooklyn in an old VW van (the only one of her sisters who drove, at the time), and visiting each year at Aunt Anna's Labor Day family reunion.   The photos you share here on this web site only highlight the wonderful times we had together.

May it comfort you to know that you mom is now reaping the rewards of her goodness, being cradled in the arms of our loving God, surrounded by her beloved family and friends, especially your father, Uncle David, who was one of the kindest men I've ever known.  

Although my brain understands this “circle of life,” I'm afraid my heart never will.

Dear Yvonne, Debbie & Alice,

As for me and my family, we've lost a very special aunt whom we have cherished throughout the years.
