Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia (Cabral) Botelho.
Thomas was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee Highschool, a proud WWII Coast Guard Veteran and went on to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years before his retirement.
Mr. Botelho was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Newport, RI with his beloved wife, Dorothy. Thomas was a lifetime member of the VFW and St. John’s Club.
He is survived by his children, Diane M. Souza and Thomas M. Botelho, both of Fall River, five grandchildren, Jason Gordon, Jaclyn Dallaire, Kevin Botelho, Brittney Costa and Matthew Botelho and one great-grandson, Jace Dallaire. Thomas was predeceased by his son, Barry J. Botelho and siblings, Manuel Botelho, Freddie Botelho, Gloria Rosa, Dora Farias and Helen Correia.
His Funeral Services will be private.
