Theresa "Terry" (Shanley) Toulan, 97, of Fall River, passed away on October 17th, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Fall River, she resided there with her husband the late Robert Toulan for 59 years until his death in 2008.
Terry retired in 1990 after serving for 31 years as a secretary to the Fall River City Council. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
She is survived by her children Bradford (Deborah) Toulan, Jayne (Daniel) Cardin, Neal Toulan, Melissa (James) Fleming, and daughter-in-law Karen Toulan; her five grandchildren Dean and Nicholas Toulan, Adam and Michael Cardin, and Lisa Limberakis; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Spring St., Fall River. Family and friends will be received prior to her mass from 9:30 to 10:00AM at St Mary's Cathedral. In lieu of flowers "be a friend to someone in need." Burial Private.
