Rosalie (Kaminski) Cripps, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved-ones at the Highland Manor Nursing Home on May 28, 2015. Rosalie was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Sophie (Mika) Kaminski and the late Michael Kaminski. Rosalie was the wife of the late William Cripps and the mother of the late William Cripps, Jr. Rosalie spent the majority of her professional career working at Slade Insurance in Fall River. After retiring, she became passionate about golf and traveled often to Florida to golf with her buddies. She also loved to garden, grow blueberries and strawberries, and spend time with all her family and many friends. Rosalie is survived by her sister Michaline (Kaminski) Lynch of Fall River; her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Kaminski of Tiverton, RI; by her nieces, Patricia Kearns Connelly of Tiverton, RI, Pamela Kearns Rego of Fall River and Susan Carney Lynch of Gaithersburg, MD; by her nephews Michael J. Kearns and Thomas Kaminski of Tiverton, RI, and David Kaminski of Fall River; and by her many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Rosalie was the sister of the late Stanley Kaminski, Wanda Genereux, Tadeus Kaminski, Kamila Kearns, and Edward Kaminski.
Rosalie’s Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be Thursday prior to her mass from 9 – 9:45AM.
