Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Robert L. Ross and Muriel V. (Reis) Corey.
Mr. Ross was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for several years as a Tax Auditor for the Department of Revenue. An avid photographer, he returned to school as an adult to complete his bachelor's degree in photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He was a member of the Eagle’s Club in Fall River and enjoyed playing darts, hiking, reading, and music, especially rock and blues.
He is survived by his children, Ian W. Ross and his wife Nicole Lagace of Providence, and Katelyn E. Ross and her husband Joe Luiz of Acushnet; his granddaughter, Amelia Ross of Providence and grandson, Cooper.
His Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will be private.
