Robert N. LaFrance, age 83 of Tiverton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 16, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marie B. (Roberts) LaFrance to whom he had been married for 60 years.
He was born in Pawtucket, RI, the son of the late John B. and Jeanette (Maynard) LaFrance. Bob was the Chairman for the Business Department at Portsmouth High School where he introduced computer technology and also taught Business Education courses for 30+ years. He was an avid boater and enjoyed countless vacations with close friends and family.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his two daughters, Patrice M. Goodman and her husband Gary of Tiverton and Anne Marie Dias and her husband Mark of Westport; four granddaughters Nicole Coogan, Caitlin Hoffman, Stephanie Dias and Samantha Dias.
