Paul F. Amorin, age 57, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 3, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was the devoted husband of Lea (Stevens) Amorin, to whom he had been married for 35 years.
He was born in Fall River, the son of Frank and Marie Blanche (Gagnon) Amorin. Paul was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and loyal employee of New England Golf Cars in Seekonk for the past 30 years. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling with his family and friends, and going to Twin River Casino.
In addition to his wife and parents, Paul is survived by his two children, Jordan P. Amorin and his wife Melissa and Olivia L. Amorin; a sister Denise Correia and her husband Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul’s family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Shparber, Sue and the staff at SouthCoast Center for Cancer Care as well as SouthCoast Hospice VNA for the compassionate care they have shown Paul over the years.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 North Main St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River.
