Mary (Brum) Mello, age 96, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Mello.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mary A. (Medeiros) Brum, she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Ms. Mello worked at Anderson Little for many years before retiring in 1981. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Fall River.
She is survived by many cousins and godchildren. She was the sister of the late Manuel L. and Ilda P. Brum.
Her funeral will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church, 120 Beattie St., Fall River. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Vincent Home, 2425 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720.
