Mary B. Gaskell

Mary Gaskell, 92, of Fall River passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angelina (Tetreault) Cote and the wife of the late Robert H. Gaskell Sr. with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She attended the Wilbur School in Somerset prior to working in the manufacturing industry as a drill press operator and later for Firestone Tire and Rubber as an operator. She loved to do various arts and crafts.

Mrs.Gaskell is survived by her four sons: Arthur R. Gaskell and his wife Mary , Dale Gaskell , Robert H. Gaskell Jr. , Howard B. Gaskell and his wife Cathy all of Fall River; three daughters: Anita E. Lekom and her husband John of Fall River, Irene J. Thibeault and her husband Henry of Butler, PA and Charlene J. Berube and her husband Edward of Fall River; fourteen grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Frederick J. Gaskell,Theresa B. Paul and Alice A. Casper. She was the sister of the late Angelina Blanchette, Victoria Cote, Henry Gaskell, Alfred Gaskell, Joseph Gaskell, William Gaskell, Albert Cote and Philomena Blanchette.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 5:00 PM from the Waring-Sullivan Homes of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place with visiting hours prior from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
