Lithia "Lee" Botelho

She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pereira) Mello, and was a 1944 graduate of BMC Durfee High School. Mrs. Botelho was employed at General Motors in Manhattan for 20 years and prior to that she was a real estate agent in Manhattan Lee enjoyed music, dancing and traveling.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Costa and her husband James of Fall River; two brothers, Everett Mello of Stratford, CT and Albert Mello and his wife Dot of Fall River; nieces, Kathleen Costa of Fall River, Kimberly Bennett and her husband Perry of Maine, and Deb Mello of Fall River; nephews, Kyle Costa of Assonet, Jay Mello of Assonet and Everett Joseph Mello of Swansea.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 10, 2015 at 10 am in St. Mary’s Cathedral Spring St. Fall River. Flowers are welcome. Burial will be private.
