Lance S. “Wolf Man” Vandal, age 62, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Marchand) Vandal to whom he has been married for the past 42 years.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of Leo and the late Doris (Lavoie) Vandal. He spent his childhood in Westport MA.
He attended Westport High School and worked as a truck driver in the farming and agricultural industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing chess and keno, collecting coins with his daughter, and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter: Kyleen Vandal of Fall River, one son: Kane Vandal of Salinas, CA. Two sisters: Magdeleine Vandal of Hampsted, MD; Dawn Vandal of Acushnet, MA. Four brothers: Gene Vandal of Ocala, FL; Leigh Vandal of New Bedford, MA; James Vandal of Little Compton, RI; Mark Vandal of Bryan, OH. One granddaughter: Alyviah Reed and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Lee Vandal and the late Michael Vandal.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 9:00AM in Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private.
