Joseph Santos, Jr.

He was the loving husband of Donna L. (Botelho) Santos to whom he had been married for 46 years.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph R. and Mary Irene (Carvalho) Santos.

Mr. Santos was a jack of all trades, working in auto body and most recently as a carpenter for Dartmouth Woods. He could be called on to assist anyone in their time of need without hesitation. A lover of all things nautical, especially fishing and boating he also enjoyed model trains and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his wife, survivors include his daughters: Hannah Ferreira and her husband Ty of Swansea and Diane-Lee Santos of Fall River; his grandchildren: Angelica and Kellan along with several nieces and nephews including Christopher Guilmette of Minnesota. He was the brother of the late Elaine Pevide.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that visitors bring a non perishable food item or toy for donation.
