Janet M. (Habib) Thompson, age 74, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Thompson.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Zelma (Whitmore) Habib.
Janet worked as a Seamstress at Merrow Inc. in Fall River for more than ten years. A lover of horses, she also enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles. Janet was family-oriented and her life revolved around her great-niece Kahlan.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Habib of Westport; one nephew, Chris Habib and his wife Rochelle of Westport; and one niece, Valerie Guillmette and her husband Mark of Dartmouth and many other relatives and friends. She was the sister of the late Douglas Habib.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited.
