Glenn D. Archer

Glenn D. Archer, age 52, of Fall River, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. He was the husband of Helen F. (Pavao) Archer to whom he has been married for the past 22 years.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Katherine A. (Campbell) Archer, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

Glenn obtained his CDL license and was a truck driver for the former Republic Services for many years. Quite handy, he liked to work on things around the house and on cars. He loved racing and was a NASCAR enthusiast. His favorite times spent were with his family, especially his children and granddaughter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kevin Archer; one daughter, Kate Archer both of Fall River; one granddaughter, Kenzie Archer; three sisters, Gail T. Cuthbert of FL, Marjorie R. Archer, Cheryl A. Archer; one brother, Robert W. Archer and mother-in-law, Maria Pavao all of Fall River. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. He was the brother of the late Deborah A. Fry, Catherine M. Shaheen, Dawn M. Archer, Patricia M. Archer-Kirby and George F. Archer Brown.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St. Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
