Gerald J. Ciullo, age 59, of Fall River, January 12, 2012, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Marguerite A. (Fleming) Ciullo, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
Gerald worked for the former Almac’s Supermarket for several years and prior to that was a driver for the Fall River News Company. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church where he played baseball in its CYO Senior Baseball League. He enjoyed walking, listening to “oldies” and spending quality time with his nieces and nephews.
Surviving: three brothers: Thomas Ciullo of Stoughton, Daniel Ciullo and his wife Heather, and John Ciullo all of Fall River, sister: Anne P. Santoro and her husband James of Fall River, and the late Mary (Ciullo) Lambert. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews: Alex and Jonathan Ciullo, Emma and Jack Santoro and James Lambert.
His funeral will be held Wednesday January 18, 2012 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter followed by a funeral mass at 9AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden St. Fall River.
