Francisco M. Jacome, age 87, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Idalina B. (Barbosa) Jacome.
Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Acores, a son of the late Hermano and Cesaltina Pacheco (RedoNdo) Jacome, he immigrated to the United States over 35 years ago settling in Fall River.
He worked at Joan Fabrics for many years retiring in 1990.
He is survived by one daughter: Luisa I. Marques and her husband Victor of Fall River, one step-son: Arthur Manuel Barbosa Alves and his wife Nelza of Lisbon, Portugal, three grandchildren Victor A., Helio A., and Fatinha Marques all of Fall River, three great-grandchildren: Anderson and Noah Marques, and Juliana Rose Camara.
Private services are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, Fall River.
