Born in Fall River, daughter of the late James E. and Annie (Wetherall) Mullins, she was a lifelong resident of the city. A 1938 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish.
She was employed as a Senior Statistic Clerk for the former Nynex now Verizon for thirty two years before retiring in 1972. She enjoyed listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, reading, and knitting. She often knitted hats for the children at the St. Vincent DePaul Home.
She is survived by one brother; James Mullins and his wife Virginia of Somerset, one sister; Catherine Ryan of Cummaquad, MA, and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Ruth Moseley R.N., Anne Mullins R.N. and Claire Mullins R.N.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her honor may be made to the Clifton Nursing Home Activities Department, 510 Wilbur Ave., Somerset, MA, 02725. Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River.
